SAD Magazine: Nostalgia Issue
For the 10 year anniversary of SAD Magazine, they launched the Nostalgia Issue. I was given the opportunity to illustrate a wonderful piece on Deja Vu written by the Alice Fleerackers. With only the perimeter of the page to work with we decided to play with the tarot card reference, the 6 of Cups, and this is my interpretation. I love the reverse-colour reflection of the spread!

Movement Magazine: The Beginner
I was approached my Chantal MacCuaig to illustrate her article “The Beginner”, her experiences delving into the world of exercise classes for the first time. She described her experiences beautifully as awkward and slightly clumsy but more capable than she thought. It was easy to grasp her feelings and hopefully I was able to portray her experience accurately in this series of illustrations. Movement magazine was a pleasure to work with and I’m honoured to be included in their first issue!
Movement by NM is an independent publication that explores the intersection of art, fitness, and everyday life, inspiring readers to live in movement.
